The coaching pathway maps the journey from a new coach undertaking their first training course right through to taking the top qualifications needed to manage an international side.
There are three strands of coaching courses: the main strand covers the free EE Playmaker, before the Introduction to Coaching Football course and leads up to the UEFA Pro Licence. The second strand features specialist courses, including Goalkeeping, Futsal, Disability Football and Talent ID. The third strand covers age-appropriate courses, including The FA Youth Award.
The first step for new coaches is to take the free EE Playmaker by England Football course, before taking the Introduction to Coaching Football course which is available throughout the country. You can find out more information and how to book here. All courses are now delivered and managed by England Football Learning.
Following this, you can tailor your own coaching pathway to suit your needs.
